Privacy Policy

Right now, we only collect the details you give when joining our waitlist: your email address and, if you are a dealer, your name, mobile number and dealership name.

We use your email address to:

• keep you updated on our progress; and
• make sure any waitlist offer or perk is applied to your account when you sign up once we go live.

By joining the waitlist, you consent to us using your email for these purposes. If we ever want to send you other marketing communications, we will ask for your separate consent first.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website to help it function properly and to understand how visitors use the Platform. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as well if you do.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data secure, including access controls and encryption. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your information at every stage.

We do not sell or trade your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the Platform (such as our hosting and email providers), and only to the extent needed for them to provide those services to us. These providers are required to protect your data to a standard consistent with the PDPA.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your data continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. You can also withdraw your consent — including unsubscribing from the waitlist — by emailing us at hello@topbid.sg. Withdrawing consent may mean we're no longer able to notify you of our launch or apply any waitlist offer to your account.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause significant harm, or is of a significant scale, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals, in line with our obligations under the PDPA.

Our Platform may contain links to other websites. This Policy only applies to Topbid — we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any other website you visit.

If Topbid's business is ever sold, merged, or transferred, your personal data may be shared with our advisers and any prospective new owner as part of that process, and will continue to be protected under this Policy (or an equivalent one) by the new owner.

Our Platform is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Once we launch, we will update this Privacy Policy page to reflect the fuller range of information we collect and how we use it. Any changes will be posted on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly.
